The facilities at the clinic include; bungalow style accommodation, kitchen, bathroom, outdoor dog kennels and cattery with feeding area. PAC is a non-profit organisation, developed to provide essential care for the many ill and suffering stray animals of Koh PhaNgan. PAC has developed an education programme, which has been accepted as a permanent part of the teaching curriculum at the island�s only High School � teaching started in November 2004. The tourist influx to Koh PhaNgan has resulted in a greater availability of food, and with many animal-loving tourists intermittently feeding and caring for the animals around them PAC moved to its current premises in May 2008 which is located in Wok Tum which is a 5 minute motorbike ride from Thongsala, the largest town on the island.

The small island of Koh Pha-Ngan has a surprising amount of attractions and features worth visiting for all types of tourist. It is one of three small, white sand beaches that are grouped together on this stretch of the east coast, the others being Had Wai Nam and Had Yuan, about half a kilometre from each other. Ao Hin Kong has a 2 Km beach that is mostly undeveloped, the southern section is only five or so metres from the road, thus there are only a couple of bungalows operations mainly renting to long-termers. The sunset views can sometimes be spectacular, with views up and down the coastline and out to Koh Samui. The shoreline is approximately 600 metres long and there is very little on it except for tall shady coconut palms and acres of white sand.
